Advocacy & Outreach

Description

The Advocacy and Outreach Program is a proactive initiative designed to raise global awareness of the Tibetan issue, focusing on its socio-political, human rights, and cultural challenges. The program organizes awareness campaigns aimed at educating the public and engaging key stakeholders, including governments, academic institutions, and civil society organizations.

Leadership and key figures from the CTA’s Department of Information and International Relations (DIIR) and the Tibet Policy Institute (TPI) organize and take part in lectures, seminars, conferences, and workshops, both domestically and globally, to raise awareness about the Tibetan struggle and reach a broader audience of scholars and participants.

The program also works closely with Tibet Support Groups (TSGs), strengthening grassroots advocacy and promoting international solidarity through coordinated actions such as petitions and lobbying within global forums. By integrating these efforts, the Advocacy and Outreach Program seeks to ensure that Tibet’s issues remain a central focus in global conversations, driving long-term change and generating widespread support for Tibetans around the world.

SARD plays a crucial role in supporting the Advocacy and Outreach Program by mobilizing resources and facilitating donor engagement to sustain and expand these advocacy and outreach efforts.
